Great Lakes Tooling Solutions is a manufacturer’s representative agency serving industrial distribution in Michigan. After many years of working as direct factory salesmen, Bill Chasnis and Brent Slagell recognized a changing supply chain and the need for technical sales representation in the marketplace. Our sole focus is on cutting tools and “at the spindle” applications. We only represent lines that sell through distribution and we work hard every day to support our distributor partners. With over 30 years in the cutting tool industry Bill Chasnis brings a great deal of experience to Great Lakes Tooling Solutions. Being involved in every aspect of the supply chain, Bill has seen how the demands have changed to getting the product on the machine.
Specializing in high volume, high efficiency machining, Bill is well versed in showing the value of a good tool. Understanding today’s challenges and restrictions and the demands of the enduser creates an opportunity for highly technical sales representatives to show added value for significant gains.
Have experienced the “coast to coast” sales coverage allows a person to see many opportunities, but living in Saginaw County his entire life and being married for 30 years are the true assets of Bill Chasnis.

Brent Slagell
Sales
Prior to working in the cutting tool business for 20 years, Brent ran CNC mills for a large die set manufacturer. Having the experience of running cutting tools for many years helps him have a better understanding of the customer’s needs. Working in the West Michigan market for 20 years has led him to many great relationships at the distributor and end user levels.
